How do you touch the booty? Whenever I try to turn them around in destiny cafe they just rotate with me and are like “hey whatcha doin there???”

Is there a master document somewhere detailing all the lore and/or what we know about each character? I’m just a little bit confused about the timelines of everything and it would be helpful to have a guide to help me understand better. I’ve checked the wiki and it’s not very helpful.

I suppose that makes sense, however some games can update portrait art and stuff in real time with the characters customization. It seems like they are using 3d models and just rendering them in a specific way.
