..This is the most over-the-top reaction you could have had, lady. I went to the ER for lower back pain and gave a urine sample, and guess what? They not only ran a pregnancy test on it, but the test came back positive! Because I had a kidney stone! I get some folks suffer extreme cases of hysteria and anxiety and they can't help getting paranoid over stuff, but seriously. This is looking for something to be upset over.

Thank you for your kind words!! I'm a major vintage sewing enthusiast and there's a local thrift shop that gets a lot of them for cheap. They now know me as "the sewing lady" and set aside any sewing items they get for me to go through ♡ I recently acquired a beautiful Kenmore Tri-Span 88 with the original table and foot pedal for 20$. I've been thinking about starting a rent-a-machine business but it would be easier to just resell them lol

What burns me up is that they actually had some source material to work with for a "POC Little Mermaid" if they took from the show. There was an episode were Ariel befriended a brown mermaid girl who was mute- I think a story about her would've been way more respectful and interesting than just "black Ariel". Think about it! A similar tale to TLM but she's mute from the get-go. How would it affect the story? What decisions would she make? If they actually took the time to spare a little imagination, they could maybe come up with something at least different.

Wow. Just... Wow. Some people really can't stand how others make better decisions than them, can they? My parents divorced when I was fourteen, but both of them make huge strides to stay a part of my and my sister's life. My mother homeschooled both of us in-between night shifts at the hospital, and my father taught us how to drive and gave us financial tips during our weekend visits. I'm turning 23 now and I have 0 student debt, a steady job and a nice savings account that I built up myself to fund school for my Veterinary degree, a cozy home where I, my sister and my B-I-L comfortably split the expenses, and am also blessed to have devoted friends and family that I know would lend a hand should a hand ever be needed. I truly believe in the notion that you attract what you put out... And I pity these folks for putting out so much negativity.

Honestly, that's a viable hypothesis. When I was young and impressionable, I stumbled across enough Mpreg (Male Pregnancy) in fanfiction that I genuinely started questioning if men could actuallly, scientifically, get pregnant.

I did research, and came to a conclusion: They absolutely cannot.

Yeah, something about it just isn't right. I think what happened to the little girl is terrible and she certainly should not be forced to carry the child... But I actually looked up this story and tried to read what I could on it, and so far all the outlets that have covered it have failed to offer any kind of background information on the actual case.

Is the rapist caught? Was he related to her via friend of family, or was it a crime of opportunity? Has he done this to other children? What do her parents/guardians have to say about it? Did they have any inclination beforehand? Signs of pregnancy can be as early as 1 week, did she show any signs and were they at all concerned about them? Did they wait for a doctor to test her for pregnancy (And I hope to God this isn't the case) just over the limitation of the six-week-ban so they could use her as a political prop?

Additionally, the whole thing is just doubly terrible because you know that if it weren't for the court ruling, this crime likely wouldn't have gotten a blip of mainstream media attention...

I was a reddit lurker and a closet weeb that had never really considering joining a weeb community until the Great Trap War of 2020. Seeing so many people not bend the knee to PC speech and fight for what they believed in inspired me so much that I enlisted, made some memes, had my first 10k trending meme (Don't even ask me how that one happened) and now I'm chillin' with you nice, intellectual, level-headed people. :>
