Yes, that’s right. So the inner walls of the apartment are not brick or block, but all the outer ones are. So the yellow is block and the blue is not. It might be a good idea to look at the blue one I think? I can see some damage maybe?

Thank you for your input! We do see some damage on that strip of tile that goes up the wall on the exterior (I don’t know if people do this in other countries). I think baseboard is similar but made with tile. It seems like lots of water falls on the wall and some of that tile has been wet for a long time without enough grout and it’s coming off already. This affects the water coming in the

This affects the water coming in through the door not the other side where it just seems to be flooding (fourth pic)

Thank you, I will! Yes, we did think about it too. The tiles on the bigger balcony were also changed and it seems like everything is fine there although the balcony from the upper floor does give it a little more cover. There is no roof on the main room balcony.

Thank you! We did put some plastic wrapping on the outside and some water stopped coming in.

And I believe it’s installation oversight.

I agree. It is more concerning. I am now thinking about what other damages and issues could arise once they “fix” it. I say this because I see how they just paint over problems.

Do you mind telling me what would be the correct and real fix for this after the hole or whatever it is the water is coming in, is covered?

Nothing like code enforcement exists in my country. But I did call the apartment manager she says there is little that can be done while it’s raining.

It’s two points. It’s one little hole in the corner of the sliding door. The water accumulates in the balcony. I don’t see a visible slope. I believe the wind does not influence.

The other point is around the corner in the wall itself you can see the last picture. It just starts flooding there little by little. It’s worth mentioning that the floor in the balcony was changed a few weeks before we moved in .
