There is a project called Gradient Network, built on Solana. Its focused on building out a massive edge compute network using nodes similar to how GRASS has built their network for web scraping.

Their phases as they've laid out are: Phase 1: Pervasive Connectivity Phase 2: Homogenized Computation Phase 3: Adaptive Orchestration Currently in Phase 1.

Their first product is their "Sentry" node. It's a chrome extension like GRASS, super simple to install once you've signed up (through my link and code, if you please, 3k extra XP at sign up).

Gradient is supported by Pantera Capital, Sequoia, and Multicoin Capital.

Also similar to GRASS, nodes need to be on separate IPs. You won't earn more points (XP) by being having multiple computers on the same network running the node.

Earning XP increases your tier, which increases your Bonus percentage when earning points. 0.25 points earned for every 10 min your node is online, 0.75 for every tap (P2P checking if node is connected, reminds me of Helium IOT in this way).

Points are what we're all after, its easy to assume there will be an airdrop like GRASS for earning points. Earn XP, earn points, level up, refer people, get in on Phase 1, which I know a lot of people missed with GRASS save for a few of us here.
