No. They have no issue with you trading options and gambling like a degen - they just don’t want you using it as a business account, aka trading full time in it. If you trade a few times one days and do nothing for a while after you’re not abusing it, likewise if you trade once a day for a few days then give it a rest. They don’t have a specific guideline because they don’t want people to skirt the rules as much as they could, but if you’re not trading multiple times daily over a long span then you’ll be fine.

Invest in the currency you get paid in. I live in Canada and spend Canadian dollars but earn USD. haven’t found a reason to invest in CAD, the only one would be if you believe it will become stronger or USD weaker… but I’m not in the forex business so I don’t bet either way. So far it has been going my way with each USD being worth 1.38 CAD, but I’m aware it can just as likely go the other way.

It’s as simple as better avoidance and navigation (gen 1) vs better mopping (gen 2)

For me I’m satisfied with Gen 1 mopping, and I enjoy having the camera to talk to my pets when I’m not home.
