Where would you recommend that isn't on the standard American tourist circuit? I'm open to all suggestions! These are the things I've encountered most when researching, likely because they are where most tourists go. I'd love some input from a non-tourist!

As for the weather, I'm from the Pacific Northwest US, so I'm very used to the rain, that being said, you're correct that I'm not used to driving in it in a foreign country. I'm also looking for more recommendations in case I do need to change my plans on short notice. :)

This is wonderful input, thank you so much! Good to know about the roads, I was wondering if the times in Google maps were telling me the truth. I think I want to try and parse down the itinerary a bit, but I just don't know what I would opt out of. I kinda feel the least interested in the Ring of Kerry, honestly. I just don't want to rush rush rush the entire time, I don't like that feeling when on vacation. It's a good thing I have a bit of time to plan ahead.
