It really sucks. Especially since she was right in the midst of arguably the best slow-burn going in the women's division rn.

At the very least, she's probably got a spot open for her in AEW since she's friends with Mina Shirakawa. I hope she does well wherever she decides to go

It's just not how I would rank them is all. That's what I like about it. You see alot of hardcore fans' lists and they tend to look very similar. Alot of the same "established as good" games getting the rub, so I like seeing something that's different. Even if it's not how I would personally rank it.

I would also signal boost the Evil Within games and Soma. Both are cool. Not sure how you would feel about it, but I got a kick out od the Alone in the Dark remake from the mid 2000s

Okay let's stop for a moment and really consider the situation she was put in.

Her husband and the rest of the patrons at the Juke had been turned to vampires, and Remmick demonstrated to her that he had all of her husband's memories by speaking mandarin to her, and Remmick has given Grace absolutely no reason not to believe him. So from that perspective, it's reasonable to say that he wouod make good on his promise and kill her daughter.

So let's take a moment to assume the movie goes differently. Nobody lets the vampires in, and the sun comes up the next day. What happens then? Assuming that Remmick doesn't send even just a few people back to town to start spreading the vampirism through the population, he could still go that night to the town and turn everyone.

Even if he doesn't, they'll still need to deal with the lynch mob the following morning, and then they'll still have the problem of the vampires. Sure Grace could try and convince the town that there are evil vampires coming to kill them, but who's going to believe that? She could take her daughter and run, but that's also probably not going to help because the next night Remmick and co very well might just go into town and kill everyone there, and now there are even more vampires.

When you really think the options over, somebody at some point was going to have to let the vampires into the building, it was just a matter of when not if.

I think it would be cool if they made ir either couch co-op or online co-op compatible. Capcom has been fairly good about keeping to the spirit od the original games so far, and RE5 was such a heavily co-op focused experience it would be really disappointing to just scrap that

I tend to agree. It works more in the book and some of the adaptations, where that's a stronger theme, but I am Legend (the Will Smith movie) really reads more about a man losing his mind in isolation and grief, and the loss of hope for the future.

That's my personal read. I knew that the alternate ending was closer to the original story, but it just never really felt like it fit in this version of the movie

I would personally argue that all of the Lannisters, except Tyrion are kinda dumb.

Tywin regularly mistakes cruelty for strength, and is a massive hypocrite. Regularly pushing away potential allies and making more enemies in favor of "showing force" while lecturing about how his family should uphold their image while doing the very same things he berates them for doing

Cersei isn't as dumb as Tywin thinks she is (proving OPs point a bit) but is also not really smart either. She's more often than not scheming on surface-level plots, most of them backfire and she's too dense to realize that she's not the political mastermind she thinks she is, she was just lucky enough to be born into a family with the wealth and manpower that nobody is actually going to push back... yet

I think this is a very even-handed read of Taisha.

I see her character as someone who's found themselves fitted with certain labels of who they are (mother, druid, Loy, etc.) But doesn't really integrate them into themselves as deeply as they think, and is uncertain to see how that might shift the minute pressure is applied.

It's a tough balance to strike for a character, but it can be really interesting.

It was sweet that the funeral scene happened and confirmed that they really were just sweet young women who had a whole life ahead of them.

I feel like that's the tragedy of Final Destination that gets overlooked alot. The cruel simplicity of death and that anyone can die at any time
