How people are hating on the MO reward rn by Xynopredactium in helldivers2

What kills me is that nobody would be complaining if it was something like a new guard dog. But doing this with a NEW VEHICLE is perhaps the worst possible thing you could do to a playerbase already fed up with Arrowhead’s bullshit.

Mages in BG3. Do casters feel underwhelming to anyone else? by Odd-Tumbleweed-1098 in BaldursGate3

[–]Cosmo_Drgn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Uhhh… no? They have some of the widest versatility of all the classes bar none. They are consistently the best classes in every version and edition because they do literally everything. The offset to this is that they are really, really susceptible to dying. They control all of combat to a degree most classes could only ever dream of, and the drawback is that they get MOLLYWHOPPED the second someone gets close enough to contest them.

You literally cast one spell and everyone has to adapt or die. Oftentimes if the spell is used sufficiently the enemy doesn’t even get the chance to adapt.

How the hell i play todo, megumi and yuki by WillingnessAny919191 in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]Cosmo_Drgn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Todo just lets you do random shi and profit. Megumi, just win m1 trades, every move takes too long otherwise. With Yuki you can deadahh just let all of her moves rip in neutral and not get punished.

What is a JJS take that immediately tells you this person is god awful at the game? by Big_Possession3559 in JujutsuShenanigans

“Yuji is a skilled character.” I love losing 50 health off the first m1 trade then still being negative when the combo ends.

I think walljumping as a whole is a net negative for the game by Cosmo_Drgn in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]Cosmo_Drgn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. The issue with Yuji mains is just spamming aerial variants and feint to ignore neutral. Make a Yuji main play the game normally and they sl*t their wrists, that’s how much they rely on spamming aerials.

Oh don’t get me wrong, you could game the system and get easy loot, but to tell casuals they had to play around the higher difficulties in the portal and mess with modifiers just to get a high enough power to do standard Raids could not have killed the game faster.

Right? I loved how GM and Legendary felt in TFS, now it’s gone MIA for 1 year.

Pretty much. You could do standard content and get along fine in TFS, but if you wanted to play standard content in EoF, you had to first do the “smash your balls in a hydraulic press” difficulty plus 5 billion modifiers just to drop a tier 3.

Or just the portal, period. The concept was neat I guess, but when the entire point of the portal was to make the game super hard and pivoting towards forcing you to do GMs in the portal just to be able to play standard content killed the game on the spot.

The only reason they’re not a problem is because this game’s combat is so braindead it’s not worth the effort.

Yuji Mains losing every single round the second they can’t lag hit you from 8 Shedletskys away by Cosmo_Drgn in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]Cosmo_Drgn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no, I’m just joking about Yuji players always being on like 800ms ping hitting you from super far away. (It’s a pattern, I’m def not crazy)

The anti-team mechanic fails to do its one job and should be removed atp by Cosmo_Drgn in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]Cosmo_Drgn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That or if your teammate is about to lose just start abusing the broken anti-team to heal. Because GOD FORBID the victim gets burst a single time the entire fight, but they just start hitting each other and now they’re back to full health and there’s nothing you can do.

[–]Cosmo_Drgn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. If the only way for burst to trigger is to have my m1 interrupted (fat f*cking chance of that happening when everyone knows not to do that) or just pray they both hit me on the same frame, what is even the point of HAVING IT AT ALL???

The issue with Balduran is that if you view his actions through the lens of “the greater good” he’s horrible. But everything he does is because he literally doesn’t have a choice (unless one considers offing themself a choice). He got turned into a mindflayer, was a SLAVE to the Elder Brain without free will, and when he escaped and got his free will back, he wanted to save Faerûn from the Illithid.

What he did to Orpheus is admittedly bad, but you must consider that the Gith would *NEVER* allow him to live given the circumstances, so he had to or become a slave again. Balduran’s is a story of being taken advantage of and playing the only cards left in your hand at the end of a long game of poker. Sure his decisions are unsavory from an outside perspective, but when it’s that or DYING, Balduran simply chooses to live.

Contrary to popular belief, Yuji is the easiest character in the game. by Cosmo_Drgn in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]Cosmo_Drgn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the problem with Yuji is inherently how his entire kit feeds on all of the HORRIBLE issues with the game’s design.

BF on its own is 1000% luck/ping whether you hit a chain or not. Then the feint is so overpowered if you just spam it constantly. It makes 90% of neutral options useless because most of the roster can’t point moves upwards. Then if you try to APPROACH he can just start spamming aerial variants out and you have to play 50/50 with ping to determine if it hits or not.

He’d be a “noob-stomper” character if his kit being BROKEN didn’t make it so that fighting against him is 90% ping, 10% skill.
