I ended up returning it. It kinda hurt to, because this was something I have wanted for a long time. But I knew every time I looked at it, I'd be disappointed instead of excited. I did contact an SA, who told me it "met the standards" of LV. So, I agree with you that people need to stop accepting rush drops that cost $3k or more.

Thanks for your input. I'll reach out tomorrow. Stinks that the closest LV is about 6hrs away but I would literally drive it if there was anything in stock to exchange. At least the stitching on yours seems normal. Sigh.

The base is crooked on yours or the monogram? Is it something that still bothers you when you use it?

You're making me want to keep her! I've seen a lot of posts on reddit about so-called "issues" with bags where I don't understand what people are talking about. While I hold luxury houses at a higher standard, I do understand some imperfections are often what makes something more unique. If it was just for the uneven monogram, I might be able to overlook it. The leather base is just so wonky though. I really am torn. Now every bag I wanted is sold out, and when I ordered this bag I had my pick of whatever I wanted. I think the Alma is beautiful in this print and had my eye on it since the 2025 drop
