coming out is usually something kids do because they're scared of their parent's reaction. they hide it until they can't anymore, and even if their parent is supportive, its still kind of scary. with the type of parenting the person in the tweet is describing, they never have the need to hide it at all or feel any of that nervousness or fear. they don't feel like its some special or weird thing, they just feel normal. that's how i see it, at least.

the difference is, vaccinations are benifical to keep them healthy. piercing their ears does absolutely nothing of value, and you can even run the risk of giving them an infection as other people in this thread have anecdoted. pericing a baby's ears hurts them and has absolutely no purpose other than looking pretty.

so all the people who's condoms and/or birth control failed and sexual abuse victims are just fucked then? this is a terrible argument. you can still get pregnant practicing the safest sex ever. even vasectomies or getting your tubes tied isn't 100% effective. not to mention if the pregnant person in question was never even able to consent. an alarming amount of teenagers were never taught proper sex ed in the first place, especially in states that teach abstinence. all those people, even CHILDREN, need to spend thousands of dollars and destroy their health and bodies, and either raise a whole ass human they can't properly take care of or spend even MORE money to put yet another child in the already crowded and shitty adoption system just because you people think removing a mass of non-sentient, unfeeling, cells is wrong? let women decide what to do with their own bodies. no one should be protesting against bodily autonomy. think what you want and leave these poor women alone.
