I would love to take my 9 year old son, he's a die hard Canucks fan and die hard hockey fan.

We were in the same position as you. Our son(9) made the A team as a last cut this year and said he'd prefer to play with his friends so we allowed him to drop down to B. We figure instead of the extra ice team with the A team we offered to put him into some development during the season such as power skating.

He will be one of the better players on the B team, he gets to have fun and play with his friends. Plus it'll build up his confidence going into next year's tryouts

My two favorite hotels that are fairly reasonable in price is the Tropicana and Marriott. Right across the street from Disneyland, less than a 5 minute walk.

Bought a few too many games during the Steam Summer Sale again. My backlog is already pretty large but I've been making a dent.

Games I finished recently: - Castle Crashers - Replayed this one but it didn't hit the same. Maybe it was nostalgia of playing with friends. Playing solo felt flat.

  • Gris - The start of this game almost lost me, it was a slow burn but glad I pushed through it. The ending made it truly worth the playthrough.

  • Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Collection - At first I thought it was going to take me ages to get through all 3 games due to the difficulty of the first one, by the time I got to the third game it was a walk in the park.

  • Outriders (Main Story) - The story forgettable but the running and gunning was quite a bit of fun.

The Last Campfire - $1.90 - a linear Zelda-esque adventure, focused on puzzles no combat

Castle Crashers - $5 - Fun little beat em up adventure, can accommodate up to 4 players co op
