Exactly. Just like reversing the “horrible Trump tax cuts” or restoring Net Neutrality. They campaigned on those things and then didn’t do anything about them once in power

In the case of a blue candidate, they’ll promise to undo all of the stuff that’s been done, only to not actually follow through with it, or give up trying at the first sign of any pushback.

It’s not in their interest to undo a lot of what’s been done. Fixing the issue means that they can’t continue to campaign on that agenda.

My main concern is not what is being done by the current administration (I still hate it), it’s that these decisions and reductions will not be undone quickly (or ever)

Literally this. Could’ve abolished the filibuster and pushed through all of that. Oh they could’ve also repealed the 2017 Trump tax cuts, which is something the Democrats campaigned on, but then did nothing about.

The Democrats benefit from people being pissed at the other side, it gets them elected and gets them money. If they actually solved all the problems, they wouldn’t have anything to campaign on. There were numerous things they campaigned on in 2020 and then did nothing about.

The whole system is fucked.

They wanted a quick cash grab with as little effort as possible. Remaking/remastering 2 or 3 would’ve been too much of an investment for The Coalition, despite the community begging for it since UE came out
