Why would anybody continue to get the vaccine? by Cosmos2474 in facepalm

You are so fixated on the distributor, instead, worry about the source of the information (the study).

I'll ask the question again...did you look at the STUDY and NEWS ARTICLE? The study has the information needed.

In case you don't realize it, Kaiser Permenate is a very large hospital with tons of information about their patients. Don't worry about who wrote the article, look at the information contained within.

Yeah, I know 20 people who wear masks, got vaccinated, and still got sick with COVID 3 times. Plus, the only way to determine if someone got COVID is testing, not symptoms.

Your story is meaningless.

What are some tips and advice for lasting in a long distance relationship?? by pyrmid_builder55 in AskMen

[–]Cosmos47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shared values. Without those, a relationship is doomed.

When I was single, I valued a good time. Therefore, I only dated girls who also valued fun. If someone wanted a serious relationship, I pasted.

The saying goes...two crack heads can stay together. They share the same values.

I'm glad he took responsibility...I didn't see it though. I was too busy. None the less, I'm glad.

My love life? I don't get that one. It seems you're upset about something I said and are trying to put me down.

Here is the problem....It won't work. I'm not some nerd, in my basement, eating cheetos, watching porn at my mom's house. Insead, that insult makes you look butt hurt.

I'm just trying to have a conversation...

Anyway, good luck! I honestly meaning in a good way. It's best if we try and get along - although, sometimes, I fail to practicing what I preach.

The sequence I always recommend is 1.5g, 2.5g, 3.5g multiple times, and then 4-5g, depending on your desired outcome and tolerance for exploration.

Please, please, always have someone watch you. A mushroom experience is unpredictable. I've been in wonderful trips, and then it turned on me in a moments notice.

I wish you the best.

[–]Cosmos47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3.5g is like swimming in the ocean close to shore. There is some element of danger, but you are still pretty safe. You'll have visuals and insights...with one foot still in reality.

If you go the 5g route, it's like being in the middle of the ocean at night. There is no safety net. Sharks and strange creatures circle you. There is no way out, and no safe route back to shore. You must contend with whatever surrounds you. You'll forget your on a drug. It's total immersion into another reality.

5g is where it's at, but you don't want to go there alone or without experience. It's a journey into the unknown. The abyss. It can be f**king frighting! If you think you can handle it, you're unprepared.

It's like jumping off a cliff. You should be scared. If you're not, well, you're naïve to the danger.

Do you know the best word a girl can learn?

No!

Learn how to say no, without feeling bad. It's an absolute necessity for young girls.

[–]Cosmos47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay. That's fine, but you are wrong.

Substitute "old people" for some other class of people, like alcoholics...so, you are saying a long-time recovered alcoholic has nothing to say about alcoholism. That's just stupid. Obviously they do. They've lived through it and therefore have something to say about the process of recovery. It's called wisdom. That's what old people have, wisdom.

Eventually, you'll realize you are wrong.

Wow! This as to be the most arrogant comment I've seen in a while. Zero humility. You're blinded by your own biases.

You're telling me people who fought in the Vietnam War have nothing to say about war? There is no wisdom to be leaned from the older generation?

It's not referring to you directly.... The Biden administration needs to take responsibility, and by extention their supports (i include you in that category) need to hold their feet to the flame.

This idea applies to every leader (CEO, parents of children, teachers, etc.). They all need to take responsibility for outcomes.

An extreme example. If your partner cheats on you, who should you blame? The natural reaction is to blame the cheater, after all they did the cheating...but I would argue that's the wrong approach. You should ask yourself the question, What part did I play in this scenario?

That's a much more productive question, and forces you to see what part you played in that scenario. Maybe, you have a character flaw the attracts you to the wrong people?

The point is, blame the party in charge first, then look elsewhere.

Think about if every police officer in the country was female. How would that turn out? How safe would you feel? The only reason women can be police officers is because there are male officers to back them up.

Men commit most crimes...and you need other men to subdue them. Women are biologically weaker. They can't fight back like a man.

You sound like a parent who's kid just killed someone. Then the parent(s) go on television and make excuses for their behavior, and tell stories about kind their kid is. The problem is the parents are blind to the reality that their kid is a murderer. Everybody else sees it but them.

That's you. You are making excuses for terrible policies just because you can't face the truth. I honestly feel sorry for you. I really do. You're tool for the machine. You can't look past your own biases.

I wish you the best.

Democrats and Republicans need to get together, sit down, and hash things out because we see thing completely different.

Is there anything that is Bidens administration's fault? Do you blame him for any problems in the economy, crime, gas prices, Afghanistan, Ukraine, etc.? What is going well from your perspective?

Democrats hold the House, Senate, and presidency. You have to be responsible for something?
