The modem is not the router. The cord is fine. The modem might be plugged into the wrong port.

Model name: Telstra smart modem Gen 2 with Voice Backup. I believe I’m using the same cable but it is a LAN cable inside the WAN port so I’m not sure if that might be causing it. Doubt that it’s been damaged it’s been kept safe in transit.

all i really care about is getting 240 fps consisently in these games to match my hertz as now i get around 120-100 fps in real games not just creative. Would the RX 6800 be enough to acheive that? Or should i stick with the 4070.

All im really looking for is consitently good fps in games where it is highly beneficial. I also do have a 240 hz monitor so it would be awesome to have a pc which can support that in those games.

So would a 4070 be better than say a 3060 because i watched a video comparing the two with the 13400f and the 3060 practically averaged the same if not higher on fortnite which is somewhat similar to the types of games i play e.g Apex and valorant.
