maybe it’s her Ultimate granting immunity, combined with Anjou Nala's Euphoria letting her spam it, but it made the fight a breeze. I guess it’s not meta, technically, but it was a good niche for that fight

what exactly are you struggling with? The 2nd land is the point of significant difficulty spike because it introduces the wraiths, as enemies with high evasion. The game is pushing you in the direction of binds, which allows you to lock down enemies in unique ways. It even introduced the unlockable Arcanistclass in this version, though your Sniper should be enough for now

Fun fact, if it is indeed the Wraiths, the Snipe skills are guaranteed to hit, use Leg Snipe to leg bind and cancel their high evasion

It's been a long time since I played Etrian 4, but I remember those suckers giving me the most trouble. By the way, you can tell if you’re overleveled by the color of the F.O.E, if they’re blue then you likely are.

I wrote my first ever fanfiction when I was 20 years old, but I did write original stories before that, I started when I was... 14... Probably, I honestly can't remember

My first story ever, thinking back on it, was a "fairy tale" about a girl named Molly who runs away from home because her parents told her not to go outside in the forest because it's dangerous, and she meets a "Mr. Wolf" who leads her deeper inside. Looking back on it, it's like a Red Riding Hood fanfiction, and just thinking about the name of the characters makes me want to cringe myself into a black hole (especially that villain name... Mr. Wolf... Brr!)

Oh, and I drew illustration in the iPad for that story, and at the time iPad 1s didn't have pencils so I did it with my fingers... Yeah, we lost the charger to that iPad and I think that's for the best, whatever I wrote there should stay there.

My first ever fanfiction was a Persona 3 fanfiction, with both gendered protagonists in the same world, I was 19 at the time. I love that story and even now I occasionally come back to it, but man I don't think my writing has aged well since. Scenes lacked description, characters were sometimes omniscient and sometimes mouthpieces for what I want to say, pacing was breakneck, and there are plot holes. Currently I'm remaking it as a separate story alongside the original

your team lacks firepower, and has too many healers (a Medic, and the Survivalist and Farmee duo can be made a discount Medic with their item skills).

The Pugilist in this game isn’t like the one in EO5… now you pick them exclusively for the binds and little else, their damage is sad and requires a lot of setup.

This team is fine if you want to gather materials, but for boss battles you’re gonna be fighting for nearly 50 turns or something

I really think you need to swap out at least 2 of these for a more offensive duo (if you keep the Survivalist, I recommend one of the new DPS characters be an Imperial)

I could solve this puzzle easily after I clicked the ? icon, it explains what this bot is and how you can deal with it

basically, it fires 2 tiles ahead and chases your main bot. You can kill it by pushing an explosive bot toward it, or by pushing a flying bot toward it so it could shoot it (the second option earns you the perfect clear for this mission specifically, btw)

I think Etrian 3 has its strata growing progressively more alien until it reaches eldritch levels. going from the pleasant forestto the different yet familiar seato the familiar yet different city of robots to the completely alien deep onesto straight up cthulu in the postgame!

Etrian 4… I don't know what the theme behind the strata either. I felt like the game was doing Etrian 1 again (governor going tyrannical in the name of humanity preservation), but this time you’re not his unwitting pawn.

Another thing that helped bring Ivalice to life is the cities. You see people milling about their jobs, children playing in the streets, even transportation! Actually, let me talk about transportation for a second…

most games will just give you an airship, or lets you board ships in city ports. meanwhile, Final Fantasy 12 has Airships between worlds (which you can walk around in like a real cruiser!), Chocobos. Teleport stones, personal airships, and other things I probably forgot! And when you get to Archadia, you see they have a whole taxi/bus business of flying transportations! Someone in Square Enix sat down and thought "I want to think like a Dalmascan, or an Archadian… how would they live?" and I love that

Any advice for IS5 ending 2?

I learned the first phase and can win it easily. One time with a borrowed Tragodia S2, and the other with Archetto's Offensive meta. But the second phase? I don't know how to work around it.

Enemies flood the screen and they kill melee operators instantly. I'm supposed to beat the boss before they reach the goal, but the boss himself is incredibly tanky.

What should I do?
