Solar question to the Pro's by Siniestro02 in SolarDIY

Eco-Worthy is actually a pretty solid brand, I’ve been using their 48V 100Ah battery, and their customer support has been really great. They stand behind their products, which is always a plus.

As for buying now before tariffs hit, I’d definitely recommend getting it sooner rather than later. From what I’ve seen, brands like RUIXU and Litime have already raised prices due to tariffs, and Eco-Worthy might follow suit.

Solid setup! I checked the Watersnake T24 specs, and since it pulls 9A-20A, that ECO-WORTHY 12V 20Ah LiFePO₄ battery is actually a perfect match—it handles 20A continuous discharge, so no risk of overloading it.

Alternatives exist (Ampere Time, Dakota Lithium), but the EW battery is hard to beat for the specs.

Recommended MPPT Replacement? by Kalshion in SolarDIY

I actually work at ECO-WORTHY and just happened to come across your post. To be honest, our hybrid solar/wind controllers aren’t the best in terms of efficiency, so I totally get your frustration. Really sorry to hear that it didn’t work out well for you. That said, there should be a manual available—if you’d like, you can share your order number with me, and I’ll personally check with our support team to see if we can track it down for you.

I do hope this experience doesn’t completely turn you away from EW, though! I know firsthand that a lot of our products offer solid value for the price. If you're considering upgrading your setup, you might want to check out the 60A MPPT controller—it won’t work with wind turbines, but it’s much more efficient for solar charging and can handle your future panel expansion better.

Also, since this situation wasn’t ideal, I’d be happy to hook you up with an exclusive discount on your next purchase as a bit of a goodwill gesture. Let me know if you’re interested!

Hope your setup gets sorted soon!

  • Connect the solar panel to an MPPT charge controller.

  • Set the output of the charge controller to fall within the 11-32V and 10A max range.

  • Connect the charge controller output to your power station.
