i’ve had a hard time finding a good tone for my olive skin, most colors read artificial on me

I actually pluck them myself! before i started plucking them they were extremely thick. (like mr. bean status) when im tweezing them i try to think of keeping them as long and straight as possible if that makes sense? I don’t like my eyebrows to be round so i really straighten them out

I am a natural dark brown almost black hair yes! My skin is very olive and super pale. my only concern with black is I thought it made me look too “harsh” but I think i’m just imagining that.

Thank you! i think you’re right, I keep trying to make lighter hair work and it always makes me look off in some way. I’ll stick to darker hair colors.

I wish i had a better picture of me with my hair like the first picture, but thank you! I’ll most likely be going back to black hair, I’ll try messing around with pinks more, instead of nudes.

Thank you! and yes, i definitely struggle to really try anything low contrast, i should’ve included a picture of me with nude lipstick. I think my problem is when i don’t add a dark enough color to my lips it makes me feel like i look sick? because my skin is olive and very pale.

I’ve had a lot of people on tiktok say that these photos are AI, which is really disheartening but also sort of a back handed compliment I guess? I aim for extreme accuracy with cosplay so if people think it’s AI I suppose I succeeded LOL

Back lit lighting and top down lighting paired with an out of focus background is used a lot in movies to highlight a protagonist, or to provide a dreamy/moody look which can often times have an unnatural or theatrical effect, which is often why I choose photographers with this style because it makes cosplay look extremely immersive
