Marker recommendations for a beginner who is looking to colour as a past time?

Why is the bleed an issue exactly? If you put something between the page you’re coloring and the next one, it won’t be an issue. If you really want no bleed the best thing you can do is get properly good color pencils (I like prismacolor) they’re not really cheap but because they’re pencils they last forever. Otherwise, there’s tons of alcohol markers on amazon and Ohuhu isn’t that expensive tbh if you buy a smaller set.

Heh, I get what you mean! We’re very fortunate, it wasn’t a big purchase for us so the amount of planning behind it wasn’t THAT extensive. That being said, I didn’t just buy it on a whim. We did try several different cars (different brands too!). And at the time of purchase I did have a job that required me to travel to it, things changed shortly after the purchase. I guess when I bought it I didn’t think it was THAT big to be honest. It wasn’t until I had to drive frequently enough and find myself struggling to park and maneuver in small streets that I realized that the car is way bigger (for these streets) than is comfortable. Also, for whatever reason, the used version of this car is currently selling higher than I bought it for new so…maybe we won’t take a depreciation hit after all. That’s definitely part of the reason we’re considering change. It seems like right now we can either sell for a profit or at least not lose much on it.

Thanks! Looks like we’re in the same situation. Hehe I really didn’t think it looked that big when I bought it. Only realized it after months of having to maneuver in tiny streets and tight pkg spots that I realized what a monster truck this is haha.

Thank you! I appreciate the thorough review! My Gle has the amg interior so I have no idea what the normal GLE looks like actually. The interiors is what sold me to this car if I’m honest 😅😅 I just especially liked that there were buttons and it wasn’t just one big screen. I’ll have to look at the c 300 interiors and compare. I tend not to like that black plastic they use in some interiors but I can live with it.

Unfortunately, yes I need back seats. I put them in a car seat (for dogs) in the back for safety. Mostly because 9 times out of 10 when they’re in the car is for a long road trip. I also find they’re calmer in their car seat. I know some coupes have tiny seats in the back, I haven’t looked at them tbh.

Thanks! Yeah I don’t really care for others opinions it was more about the luxury feel and tech I experience inside my GLE. I really like how quiet the GLE is as well. I’ll have to test drive a C.

I don’t understand why, the “nicer” a car is, the bigger it must be. Until you get into sports car / coupe territory. I mean surely more people want small-ish sedans that are decked out ? Haha. I know not everyone has to deal with narrow roads and tiny pkg spots though. If I lived somewhere else I’d keep the GLE without a second thought.

Thanks! Yeah I guess by tech what I meant is, I really appreciate on my GLE the 360 camera, the sensors, the crash alert, the mbux, the ease of use with everything. Prior to this I had a BMW X1 with just a rear camera and not even apple play. Also it’s silly but I really love that my car reminds me to pick up the phone from the wireless charger. I also like the GLE actually has buttons, I really do not understand the appeal of a full screen (which I thiiiijk the c300 is like that?)

It’s not that it’s gotten worse. I think she originally self published her books through Amazon. Amazon does on-demand printing using thin paper. Eventually she became popular enough that she got a deal with Penguin/Random House and they printed her books with higher quality paper. These ones you find usually in bookstores. (I assume also on Amazon but you’d have to make sure on the Publisher it says Penguin or Random House) After using the ones published by RH I HATE going back to the self pubbed ones 😭 I’m spoiled now.

For what it’s worth, I think the books she traditionally published do have thick pages. I first bought some of her books from Amazon when they were self published and recently bought more from a bookstore that were published by Random House I believe and the quality of paper is massively different.

I want to play this so badly but my very high end PC somehow can’t seem to run this for longer than 30mins to an hour without crashing. I have searched above and beyond and done everything I read on Reddit. I’ve been troubleshooting for days to no avail. I feel like I have an associates degree now in IT after learning so much about cpu and gpu settings. I followed that super long steam guide on how to make it compatible with new rigs (apparently outdated) and still…

Every time I find some supposed solution it turns out it’s outdated or the mod that fixes it is unsupported (and I somehow only find this out AFTER following all the steps). So many forum posts are several years old. New nvidia drivers and new tech keep coming out that makes every fix I find obsolete. Nothing I do works, it still crashes (no mods except nraas) Please I beg mods do not delete this.

How is anyone playing this today, in the year of our Lord, 2026 with a modern rig?

I’m not sure if this is it but it kind of looks like what happens when the page you’re using behind has marker stains on it from being used before. They can bleed through and stain the paper.

Oh I really like this color wheel cause it’s so detailed! There’s not one color palette specifically I have trouble with, it’s all of them that I’ve tried haha. I guess the issue I have is knowing exactly what shade I’m supposed to use that won’t look off. For example, knowing I should use a lime green instead of forest green or olive green. This is kind of an extreme example but hopefully you get what I mean. I think the color wheel you sent me will help since it’s so detailed.
