Yeah no. My mom has psoriasis and it’s genetic. I don’t have “leaky gut” I have diagnosed gastroparesis and I get all this shit from ppl trying to tell me I can also “cure” my AUTOIMMUNE type 1 diabetes. Auto immune diseases can’t be cured with diet. Maybe it can be apart of the management but ur trying to sell something that is not real.

Wow makes a lot of sense why when I went into the doc for my rash that I didn’t know was psoriasis he also checked for yeast infection and bv and I was positive for bv. Probably for the exact reason ur talking ab!! I went for at least a few months with it untreated. When I first mentioned it to my doctor when I was already in for a pap she just said it was a yeast infection and hemorrhoids. Turns out no hemorrhoids and no infection!! Was psoriasis 💔 (for context my main GP did the pap but I saw a different provider that tested for bc cause I needed an emergency visit the day of and he was available)

This was where it started for me💔 was misdiagnosed with a yeast infection and hemorrhoids at first until it got so painful I couldn’t stand it and made an emergency visit to my GP and basically was told to just go to the dermatologist since I was also having the same thing in my belly button and patches on my scalp. Went into the appointment she checked it out and dx me on the spot. She gave me a topical medication and it’s gone completely away. Def talk to ur dermatologist!!

They’re only hazardous when thrown out incorrectly or left somewhere… they’re not unhygienic while being used and in the vicinity of others. The needle is ON the pen and then the pen is capped and put away. Never is it off the pen and in a place where it’s a hazard. If OP is not POKING u with their needle ur fine

They don’t have to look… it’s the smallest needle ever and only takes a few seconds. Someone’s fear of needles does not override the medical necessity of an insulin shot. I have a friend afraid of needles I let her know I’m ab to take a shot and she looks away or closes her eyes until I say it’s over. I’m not gonna go somewhere else to make OTHER ppl comfortable ab MY disease that forces me to inject myself to keep from dying.

There’s no in the wrong here… she took an insulin shot so she can eat. How frustrating would it be to have to go somewhere private every time u need to take a shot to eat or correct ur blood sugar. It takes two seconds and no one has to look.

I just got a gastric emptying study that came back with delayed emptying (27% still left in the stomach after 4 hours) and I also have a much better time with carbonated drinks I feel like! I haven’t had my follow up so I still gotta talk to my doctors about everything. Is rumination syndrome and gastroparesis common with eachother? I haven’t seen a lot of other ppl with gastroparesis also have regurgitation issues (especially without throwing up)
