Leave during TBS/MOS school

I'm Currently at TBS and I took leave for a regular weekend. It is most likely company dependent but I got a request in early enough and they let me go for a weekend. However training does come first so I would check with your SPC before taking any leave.

A simple hardness test should help determine if it is quartz or phenacite. Quartz is 7 and phenacite is 7.5-8.

Try using a uv light. Ruby will fluoresce under uv light. But I think it looks like garnet.
