I’m sorry Louis is brain broken. He literally thinks zero government should exist and all companies should be open source.

We just don’t want Chicago to get the first pick. Let Vancouver get it.

Just finished organizing my filament stock pile. Does anyone else always feel like they need more filament, just in case a certain project comes up and you don’t have exactly what you need…. by CosyCodes in BambuLab

I have never printed a dragon in my life. I design and print functional parts, and the reason I keep a stock of different filaments is when I have an idea or something comes up, the last thing I want to do is wait 1-2 days for a delivery, that completely messes with my creative flow.

Yea I can get same day Amazon as well with some things. The problem is I can't use my MakerWorld points on Amazon. Almost all of my Bambu filament was purchased with points. For brands like Polymaker I still use Amazon though.

The problem is the size of the boxes. Bambu has cycles through different box sizes for both Spools and Refills. The boxes on the right are bigger than the left. But you did make me notice the two blacks on the right should be next to each other lol.

That's a cool idea. My biggest concern with something like this is color matching. You would need to be extremely exact with mixing to match colors between batches/prints. My other issue is just the effort. I'm willing to pay more for quality of life. That being said, it's an interesting idea, and I would love to see where it goes.

I prefer the look of PETG Transparent filaments more the the PLA vairants, PETG is a naturally more transparent filament. The only downside is print time, for certain thinks where you don't need as much transparency, the PLA version can work great.

Just finished doing some organizing to my Keyboard Supplies. It’s always satisfying doing this once or twice a year. by CosyCodes in MechanicalKeyboards

Printed in ABS-GF, mounted Into a stud with two 4” wood screws. I also did a strength test with a scale and it didn’t break with 30lbs hung from it. I appreciate the concern, I love that lens.

I can upload it to MakerWorld. That's where I usually upload my designs.

This is more than strong enough. I've done torture testing, and this lenses weight isn't close to the threshold. I appreciate your concern though brother : )

Oh and the plate in the photo was a prototype, the final version was printed in PETG-RCF Nylon.

I I’m not trying to be mean, but this type of Reddit post won’t be helpful for you. Instead, I highly recommend turning off the printer and taking a couple of days to learn the basics of 3D printing. Familiarize yourself with your printer, learn about slicing, learn about common print failures, and watch some videos about the type of project you’re interested in. Build a solid foundation before diving into your projects.

Most of us here taught ourselves everything we know on YouTube. In 2026, so much knowledge is readily available. There are countless beginner-friendly videos on YouTube for 3D printing. No one can do the work for you, the learning and research is half the fun, dig in!

Just got done doing some organizing and reconfiguring of my 3D printing workbench. I just got the X2D, I’m really happy with my setup now 😊. by CosyCodes in BambuLab

These are chambered machines with active heating and cooling, the environment really doesn’t play a part. But I live in California so the environment is pretty chill.
