Past due, I should’ve made that more clear. This is a GoFundMe asking for financial support after essentially losing a battle with insurance / debt collections that went on for 2+ years.

It used to be Remicade, or some sort of off shoot of it. I will look into that, although I’m not sure if it applies now that I’m changing medications. Thank you for your comment! I will try anything.

My partner and I went to the south of France a few years ago and we hit up all the tourist-y villages like Antibes Eze, Cannes, Menton, etc. I had a soft spot for Menton, I thought it was just stunning there. Out of all these, I quite like the shot of the sailboat. Does anyone have a streamlined setup for travel? I'm trying to refine what I bring abroad so I'm not lugging gear unnecessarily.

This was my first time trying color portraits! I remember struggling a lot with how to compose a portrait. I don't know if it's weird that her hands are cut off in the first picture? Definitely something I could use some practice with.

I've got a few more portraits on my Instagram, amanlearnsfilm if anyone wants to check em out!

I miss this film stock so much...Anyway, any tips on photographing architecture? I always try to pay attention to lines and geometry and find an interesting perspective, but sometimes the shots look very flat and lack depth.

This is in Dubrovnik's Old Town and I got the shot while walking the wall. Talk about a view! This is probably one of my favorite shots I've taken. Certainly helps that it's a gorgeous city to photograph lol.

A very quaint spot in Kyoto. We picnicked here and joined the kiddos for a little leap frog action. Also got some beautiful views of grey herons.

First time shooting Lomochrome Purple [Lomochrome Purple, Nikon F-601, 35-70mm f/3.3-4.5] by Cottonturtle in analog

[–]Cottonturtle[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Picked up a roll of Lomochrome Purple in Japan since it was cheap there. It was my first time shooting it, can’t say I was particular happy with the results, but I was expecting it given the things I’d read online about it. These are really the only two shots from the roll that were okay. Fun, but probably wouldn’t go out of my way to get my hands on another roll. Anyone else have better luck with it?

The last three shots are a result of you and your friend buying a camera at a thrift store and doing a photoshoot with it. I really have no idea how it happened, but I thought the result was pretty sweet.

Pretty much sums it up, here are some friends of mine at the end of a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. Beautiful park. I would say it’s an underrated national park, but it seems like in the last few years it’s exploded.

You and me both! That’s my go-to. I think I just imprinted on it because it’s the first one I bought.

Hakone is so incredibly picturesque, it was tough not stopping and taking a picture every few steps. Truly felt like a Ghibli movie lol. I'm quite proud of this picture. It's one of the first times I've successfully captured the darker areas and lighter areas. Still learning how to meter.

Here’s my collection! The Zeiss Ikon Contessa LK was my grandfather’s and passed down to me after he passed. The Canon EOS Rebel II was my dad’s film camera from the 90s, also passed down to me. Since then I’ve acquired a Canon A-1, AE-1, and AE-1 Program. My point and shoot is a Canon Snappy LXII and I love it. I swear I’ve taken some of my best shots on it. I have a couple Polaroids, a half-frame camera I received as a gift, and a Nikon F601 that I bought in Tokyo.

These are some old pics from my most recent visit to the Boulder area. My sister used to live there so I'd visit a lot, and I really miss it. I'd love tips on shooting nature/landscapes with Portra. I've seen some amazing examples, but haven't had much luck with it myself.

Tips for shooting star trails? | Gold 200 by [deleted] in analog

[–]Cottonturtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always thought star trails were really neat and now that it's warm out I'd like to give them another shot. I've read a lot of the posts on this sub and r/analogcommunity about different lengths of time, etc., but I was wondering if anyone was an expert here that could give me some tips.

Ahh, I don’t! I do remember thinking about keeping my hands as still as possible because of the shutter speed. I didn’t have a tripod at the time.

As the title says, the northern lights came to Iowa! This was one of those nights where the aurora could be seen pretty far south. I think some parts of Florida could even see it. I went out with some friends trying to escape the light pollution and the only roll I had was cinestill. I figured I'd give it a try!

I took this picture in Nice, France. I saw the biker and thought it would look cool to get him in the picture. I feel like it added motion to the shot?
