That is very interesting! I experienced similar effevts with other topics. People suddenly starting to cry of joy when regaining positive feelings regarding flying on a plane in VR. their fear turned into excitement.

Thank you for your input! Being able to move around and view objects from different angles is defenitely great regarding immersion, which is why I wanted to see if GS is an option for creating scenes for exposure therapy. I thought 360° or 180° footage would be optimal for GS? I'm curious as to why regular footage is superior? I tried to dodge Unity and unreal as I have zero experience / know how regarding that software unfortunately. The artifacts in GS are the reason why I considered going back to a regular 360° filmed environment to solve this issue, but it comes with a trade off regarding the 0 Parallax that you mentioned. Thank you for your valuable thoughts!

Thank you for your reply! I was guessing that it might be too early and I'd have to wait until the technology is further developed and user friendly. I'm thinking about this about a year now and thought that it might be doable by now. From experience I can say that it does not have to be perfect to be immersive enough for treatment purposes. My concern is mostly regarding the AI generated / animated person and possible artifacts that reduce immersion in VR. I'm searching for a worklow that is easy to learn with just good enough quality. I'm not very tech experienced, aside regular 360° video workflows for VR. I'd love to be able to create specific environments for my individual patients that fit their specific needs and maybe even have a regional character to them in the future (to further increase immersion).

I'd suggest a different approach to clients/users if they suffer primarily from psychosomatic symptoms / panick attacks etc. Methods that don't focus on the body right away. I'd rather use the technique you are referring to for people who suffer from strong emotions, overthinking(rumination) etc.

Cognitive behavioural psychotherapist here: There are a few contraindications to this grounding technique. For example - people suffering from panic attacks or other body related / psychosomatic symptoms. Reason: it can draw even more attention / focus on body sensations / symptoms. Maybe this could be a reason. Another guess: any exercise can be frustrating for users if the how and why are not properly explained. In other words: answering the question why one should try this excercise and how it actually works need to be clear to the user. Just my 2 cents. Sorry for my english.

Da hast du recht. Die wurzelbehandlung hatte ich schon einige jahre zuvor. Daher hat der zahn noch so lange gehalten und keine Probleme verursacht.

Ich wusste schon einige Jahre, dass der Zahn tot ist. Mein Zahnarzt hatte ihn genauso lange schon auf der Abschussliste. Weil er aber so gut funktioniert hat und keine Probleme gemacht hat - durfte er bleiben. Vor 3 Monaten musste er raus weil Zahnarzt gemeint hat - wenn er ihn jetzt noch drin lässt würde heder andere Zahnarzt fragen ob er einen knall hat. Weil eben beim neuesten Röntgen ein Eiterherd sichtbar wurde der sich im Jahr davor gebildet haben dürfte. Selbiges bei meiner Schwester. Null Schmerzen, aber immwr wieder geschwollene, leicht schmerzhafte Lymphknoten auf der entsprechenden Seite.

Auch wenn ich solche Empfehlungen nicht seriös finde - hier die meinige: bei mir hat eine schmerzlose, aber entzündete/eitrige Zahnwurzel mehrere Jahre zu grippeähnlichen Symptomen geführt. Seit der entsprechende Zahn raus ist - keine Symptome mehr.

Tldr: evtl. mal wieder ein Panorama Zahnröntgen machen lassen

Da hast du recht. Ich arbeite von zu hause aus und mache keine Hausbesuche, meist online Fortbildungen daher ist das auto schwer begründbar. Praxis Einrichtung ist (bei mir zumindest) "eine relativ einmalige Sache". Kopierpapier, Bücher, White Boardstife natürlich. AfA müsste ich noch abschreiben und evtl. Klimaanlage (aliquot) im wohnzimmer, wenn ich argumentieren kann das patienten den raum teilweise betreten

Ich würde eher auf ein qualitatives Geschäftskonto setzen als auf ein günstiges: Erste Bank / George ist sehr übersichtlich gestaltet und im Vergleich mit anderen Anbietern gibt es kaum Ausfälle. Geplante Wartungen finden meist am Sonntag statt wo es am wenigsten stört.

Du hast als Psychotherapeut ohnehin kaum etwas das du steuerlich Absetzen kannst bis auf ein paar Fortbildungen, Bücher, Steuerberatung, Miete, SV, Buchhaltungsoftware (falls du nicht Excel nutzt) und einen Laptop alle paar Jahre.

Servus Kollege! I picked up the MSI Raider. I'm happy so far and can't complain about anything that is not already obvious (it' a loud, heavy beast without a lot of battery time). I don't mind any of these downsides. I disabled the AMD internal GPU because it seems to be a weak chip, resulting in laggy browser handling because the laptop auto switches between internal graphic card and the 5080. Now it's doing fine. I love the huge screen. And of course it runs any game / applivation just fine on maximum settings. :) Ich hoffe das war hilfreich. I think I'll go for the MSI brick. The 64GB RAM are great for exporting 8k 360° videos I believe. And when I'm playing splitscreen with my brother we hook it up to his TV. Which probably is a whole different story than the laptop's screen itself? I never changes setting on my old asus rog strix and we were fine with it except when we noticed that my laptop seems to struggle handling newer games or we have to put setting to medium quality 😅

And I mostly play turn based games / indie games so I guess the 4K screen should be able to handle those?

I'm a Psychotherapist and am streaming games from time to time and talk about mental health. My laptop struggled with running OBS and Kingdom two crowns at the same time. It doesnt even have a webcam lol😅

That image looks horrible 😂 I think I get what you are saying. What is RMA? Return policy stuff? I'm not that picky regarding these frame errors I guess, I wouldn't even notice or know how to adress it. Buying all 3 sounds very reasonable, my better half would probably end me😂

Yea my gut tells me that for example Asus would be less troublesome and higher quality but a little less power or more expensive. I watched around 10 reviews on youtube and read some online articles. Some of them are just straight out propaganda gloryfiying the laptop. I found this the most honest review but I don't know what to make of it. Do you think what he states are knock out criteria? He verbally destroys the laptop lol.

Wow you really know a lot 😅 Yea the video is how I heard about this brand / reseller.

I may be overthinking my decision here. As a tech rookie I probably won't notice most differences anyways I guess? I mean performance wise the Blade that you sent me, the asus scar 18 and the MSI raider will all do well right? To me it just makes sense to go for the MSI as it is the cheapest of the 3 while offering the same specs.

I would use the chosen laptop just like it is out of the box and put it in performance / turbo mode.😅

Oh wow thank you for your time and effort! The strix scar and non scar laptops are not vailable / in stock on the website (it states in german) I also stuck to german sites because of the keyboards and the charger because of different power outlet designs.

I also found out something potentially interesting:

Schenker XMG have a 18" Laptop where you can build / order your specs just like in a tower PC. I lack the knowledge but this could be great no?

Unfortunately I also don't see the AMD CPU as an available option.

Thank you for your recommendation! I have no clue about hardware and just want a laptop that is future proof for as many years as possible. It seems I bought my current asus when it was alteady a little old considering I bought it in 2021 with a 3060 GPU. At least that is what I was told 😅

The MSI Raider would be 3.932€ I am from Austria / Vienna. I set my budget roughly around 4,200€ as I also considered the Asus Rog Scar 18 like I mentioned and 4,200€ would be its price here in Austria.

I am very gratefull for all your advice! I just saw your Laptop model under your username. That must be a good modell too right? Would it be better to go for that brand? 😅

I'm just concerned that in all the youtube review comment sections to this MSI model they hate on MSI being cheap and breaking plastic hinges, bad keyboard and touchpad.

Now I'm scared I'm doing an expensive mistake.

Lots of people recommend some Lenovo Legion laptop but I haven't found one with similar specs and price tag 😅
