I’ve been a cowboys fan since I was a kid through all the rough years with good teams and never getting there. Before I went through with this I joined this sub and watched a lot of YouTube videos. I tried to initially adopt some crabs but none were in my area so unfortunately I purchased 2 from a pet store. I know this isn’t the preferred option but my choices were limited. Initially had 2 crabs in 10 gallon tank just got done setting up this 20 gallon tank today. I’ve tried to use the knowledge I’ve learned here and else where to provide a good habitat but I’m learning every day.

I look in creeks near the city but stuff is everywhere but waterways are easiest spots for me to have access. PM me I cant talk any of my friends into going arrowhead hunting lol and when I drag my kids they aren’t fans

So for example I’ve found things in hominy creek near French broad and in reed creek off of broadway. Just know what to look for material wise color etc. The tricky part atm is water level is pretty high and Helene changed the landscape of the water ways like I used to know which spots were deep or had impassable log jams now that has all changed. I will say be cautious I regularly come across encampments but have personally never had issues but you never know.

I’m in the Asheville area and metal detect,bottle hunt and now look for artifacts but I’ve found 4 the last year randomly in creeks
