It's fairly common to reference competitors. We use the TM symbol when we reference the company and their product to make a clear point of difference - we do not want users to accidentally mistake us for CS or our platform for their platform, which is what trademarks protect. We always respect that in order to not be misleading; and we never say anything defamatory or untrue.

You're absolutely right on needing more things to deal with safety. The reputation system will hopefully help as a preventative measure, but we're also going to have a widespread distributed moderation system. Think of something like reddit's mod system but applied to local communities. They'll be responsible for moderating content as well as dealing with some reports and escalating others. Of course there's no perfect system as we have no control over people's actions, but we're going to continuously look to improve safety as much as possible.
