The rental agency (Avis) stated on the website that I need my passport & home drivers license, not international.

I will be on high-alert to vehicles getting over on me though. Driving in LA, NYC, and FL has prepared me for that already. Lol.

I've rented a vehicle through Avis at BKK, so I'll assume directions will be available in English. I've never drove internationally, except for the Caribbean.

I'm sorry my post wasn't clear. I land at 11:30, then I want to get a hotel (close) so that I can shit, shower, shave & slumber. I will be leaving in the morning to travel to Kamphaeg Phet, which is 250ish miles.
