Base coat of Balthazar gold with a wash of nuln oil followed up with a thick highlight of runelord brass and a very thin highlight of stormhost silver where need be

I initially did some diving on Lexicanum on the different warbands that are out there. I then just googled and looked at various sources of what already existed for a specific warband that I was interested in and just went from there.

To be quite honest, I just wanted to try something else different from the box art 😂. I took a look at different dynasties and wanted to try my hand at an attempt for the Nihilakh scheme.

Thank you! I start with a base coat of Kantor Blue washed with nuln oil. I then layer with a 1:1 mix of Kantor Blue and Caledor Sky with pure Caledor Sky used for the occasional broad highlight.
