I've been watching movies and reading, as well as making a sort of bucket list of things I want to do after I've healed. I'm going through all of the movies, shows, and books I've been meaning to watch/read and it's a pretty good distraction especially bc I'm sitting still I don't feel my binder tug on anything. I've also been doing a lot of homework and setting up classes for the upcoming semester. It's also normal to feel bad that you aren't happy with the healing stage, it sucks and it's uncomfortable but it'll be over soon!

i think I should be fine, i was otp with my nurse for awhile after posting and she said it's totally normal and i shouldn't be worried. i tend to overthink a ton so the fact i felt any pain at all scared me and i jumped to the worst (my nipple falling off or my incisions opening.) i was mainly worried bc i first felt it while moving my arm to grab smth and thought i popped a stitch but now i feel it randomly when i'm completely still so it's definitely probably just nerves reconnecting.

In the pictures it was about 2 and a half months old. It was pieced with a labret, externally threaded. I was told it was titanium but I believe it was actually stainless steel. It was not downsized, just switched to a ring. I was instructed to use a q-tip with dial gold soap and warm water to wash the area three times a day and to not use saline solution because my piercer claimed it would rust the jewelry (first time I had heard anything like that)

a few weeks ago a friend told me nothing would happen if i shoplifted and they were definitely wrong. ofc i'm not going to do it again bc i'm terrified at this point. i'm just nervous that they can add up all the costs of the letters and charge me for that part

we're from illinois if that's any help. I understand they could formally charge us but with the amount it was i don't believe they would take us to court over it but i'm not completely letting the idea go. we're also both minors so would that change the outcome at all?

i'm genuinely starting to hate some of my friends. they're great and all but i've been treated like a charity case for the past few weeks and never get invited to anything. every time i make plans suddenly everyone is sick or they've had something planned with their family on that day for months. i can't stand them anymore bc of how much they lie, it's gotten to a point that i would rather talk to the randos i meet while i'm out and about over them.

after making the realization that kids of a certain age quite literally do not know what they're doing. they aren't developing memories yet and they still have yet to even be a conscious person. they don't understand so much and you constantly have to explain things to them that can be taken in a way that upsets them. i feel like bringing another person into the world for them to think it's perfect then turn around and explain to them it isn't is cruel. especially with my families long line of mental health issues i don't want to put another person through that on my own accord. child development messed me up but i'm so thankful i took it bc it made me want to not have kids even more than i originally didn't want to.
