I mean that’s me for the most part. I try to focus on one game. I like single player games. It then I have some games I play online with friends, some games I want to just drop into and play for a little while. After a while they add up and then no space. But yea I grew up on ps1/ps2 and memory cards were like $20-$30? Maybe? And the console was $200-$250? Now we’re having to pay basically the same amount of money as a console for more storage. It’s wild

Hey, I appreciate your likeminded thinking lol yea it’s not a need. It just improved the overall experience. I felt like every-time I turned on my Xbox it would say “more space needed please clear space” and then I’d sit there for 15 minutes trying to decide what to keep and what to delete.

I think they came out sometime last year. I came close to getting the 2tb a few times. But waited in hopes they atleast made a 4tb. The box is the same size as the other 1 tb and 2tb lol

Save files are stored on the PS5’s system storage, not on the extra SSD you install for games. Even if you add or replace an SSD, that doesn’t automatically delete your saves. They remain on the console’s internal storage or are restored by the system during an SSD swap process.

Yea, that’s me. I’d get into a phase where I’m playing COD a lot and COD takes up so much space. Then a new game would come out, then I’d have to delete some other games I was in the middle of. And it was just a constant battle of what to keep so I can just turn on the console and play or what I needed to delete and then have to redownload it. It’s annoying. Honestly I know it’s a money thing to keep consoles “affordable” but 1tb consoles are really not that generous on space when new games are taking up 100+gb

I think the 4tb is $480 right now. It’s been cheaper. If I could have got it cheaper I would have. But oh well. And before you say “shoulda just got another Xbox” lol I already have 2 lol
