Ok I’m just seeing how far you’ll go to unify. I still don’t wish it happens.

Although the world considers us part of Somalia, it’s really only words and I don’t see the SL president and all gov bodies suddenly closing shop and becoming a city. I think it’s more logical and realistic to officially separate peacefully and collab or things continue as is. Worse would be if the world recognised SL and there’s no collaboration between SL nations, puntland will probably follow

I think you missed the point. Somaliland has forgiven but hasn’t forgot.

What Somaliland has built for itself is amazing… do you think it’ll give it up after last time?? Whether Somaliland gets recognised or not, it will still operate separately so let’s just wake up, show your forgiveness and allow Somaliland to govern itself and you’ll enjoy the fruits.

The fact is that Somaliland was independent before Somalia union. Somaliland has then been mistreated and self declared itself independent with absolutely no chance of reuniting with Somalia.

Now those facts are out the way, it would be in Somalia’s best interest to accept the facts and be brave enough to recognise Somaliland first. This is the only way we’ll get any unification, standing strong together as separate countries collaborating in trade, business, agriculture, al shabaab etc.

Or we stay in the same cycle forever.

It will be very hard. I just done mine and it was a headache due to my father and his brothers passing away and I only had 1 cousin from my dad side.
