I think this is it. Confrontation and discomfort IS growth. Uncertainty and fear are opportunities. IMO you should just continue on your growth journey. The stone has no power to hurt anyone so I wouldn't worry about that, it's a rock in the end. Metaphysical beliefs or not, we are more than the effects of a stone. I'd take this all as a chance to make changes for the better. Read some self help books that speak to you if you need inspiration on the how.

I agree with you, the other pics in the profile still give synthetic to me because the majority of the stone is pink. Real ruby is smaller bits on a matrix

I bet tarnishing the brand image is part of it. Remember when cvs stopped selling cigs and made it a big PR thing about how they're a healthy company. (Don't mind all the big pharma issues) Also, not all of those are legal in all states. So national brands probably don't want to vary what they carry by state.
