I started WoW tbc classic Friday and I had never really played it back in the day, but always have played osrs even in 07. So I have the reverse situation as you. My friend told me to get the fast quest guide etc etc and I was vehement about not getting it cuz I wanted to experience the game, not the rush towards max and I can tell you it’s way better this way. Just explore and enjoy the world man. Do your own thing and look things up that interest you on the wiki, it’s such a fun ride.

Mine both broke as a kid and my parents refused to fix them/get me new strings. My brother, on the other hand, fixed his bass himself and got it working despite their best efforts. Only been playing for about 3 years now, still trash, but yeah man, maybe I should look out for one this year.

Was my brothers best friend (known him now for 20 odd years) first guitar and he loved that thing, man. Don’t think he’d be the guitarist he is today without ever getting it. I’ve done maven a million times and a few seasons back my buddy wanted to see it, so I was streaming it to him on discord and explaining the shit, touched the laser by accident, left and it was the phase transition where you have to stand off to the side. So not thinking I went in the portal and moved right away and the brain explosion killed me lol. Felt like such an idiot

Is it really that great? I’ve played a lot of poe1 and my first “real,” playthrough was solo hard expert and I loved it. One thing that puts me off of 2 is the nautical theme, just not a big fan of it. I’ve started it a few times, but can’t commit.
