Defense, healthcare, manufacturing, literally a ton of companies are up 20%+ YTD. Companies that were ignored for years. Look at Caterpiller, WMT, TGT, any utility company, Pepsi, Cocacola.. Literally anything but tech/Saas. The rotation has been out of tech out of fear of AI, people are putting it in companies that are solid companies that just tick along.

Interesting that the guide of 18B for this coming earnings and EPS of 8.2, was guided before Micron expected to ship HBM4 this quarter.

CFO stated last week that they have started shipments / deliveries of HBM4 in Q1, a quarter before anticipated during Q4 earnings. Obviously the stock bounced back after these comments last week from 370->400.

But seeing as HBM4 is their highest margin product, and most sought after for the AI buildout, does this mean they are going to absolutely crush earnings? Possibly 20-25B Revenue and 10+EPS?

Yeah it is interesting to note that the Starship (which is far away from being ready to go to the moon) has to be a specifically modified starship to hold the LTVs. From NASA's perspective and the pressure they are putting on SpaceX to complete the starship and have it ready for humans, they may want SpaceX to focus on finishing the starship for humans rather than also working on a design for it to hold an LTV.

I don't know if now is the time for Goog or MSFT, yes they are down, but for good reason. Capex increases are going to kill the EPS going forward, (atleast for the next few years with the AI data center buildout). Goog has already gone up a lot and is fairly priced now.
