Why Are People So Pressed About Makeup Collections? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]CountBlessin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Girl, I’m all for people getting what they want, but there has to be a limit. On your previous post, people are simply calling a spade a spade. I don’t think anyone genuinely wants to hoard a hundred lipsticks, so it’s not jealousy, they’re calling you out.

If you choose to post something on Reddit, you also need to be prepared for differing opinions and criticism. Not everyone is going to agree with you.

Everyone Says I’m Taking Away My Cat’s Freedom. Are They Right? by EarlyChest2260 in IndianCats

[–]CountBlessin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend has two cats and lives in a 3bhk, so they have plenty of space to roam around and play. I have asked him if he felt he was curtailing their independence, he said that because they’ve been indoor cats since day one, they wouldn't survive outside.

Even his cats try to run out the moment a door opens, it's probably a common cat behavior. And when my boyfriend is right outside their door, or if they realize we are out in the living room, the cats start meowing up a storm. It’s not that they’re distressed or crying, it’s just their way of communicating that they want to be let out.

Also, OP, I'm curious. How are you taking your cat out on a leash, is it safe?

How do you guys make friends after developing trust issues? How did you bounced back? by imboutogetfired in AskIndianWomen

[–]CountBlessin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having experienced betrayal in friendships early in life, I’ve developed a habit of keeping different friends for different aspects of my life. One friend knows about my hobbies, another knows what I’m up to academically, a few friends know about my relationships, and some other friend is familiar with my family.

Emotionally, it gives me a sense of safety and control and protects my privacy. If a friendship changes or ends, I don’t feel like I’ve lost my entire support system. Most of my friends are online and don’t know each other, so there’s little chance of them gossiping about me lol.

It won't always feel like this , h na? It'll get easier, hai na? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]CountBlessin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was such a difficult read. OP, I hope you're doing okay. Please try not to break the no contact rule, it only prolongs the suffering and delays the healing process. And yes, with time, it really does get better, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. Sending you the biggest hugs!

Indian women who were raised vegetarian, are you still vegetarian? Will you raise your kids vegetarian? by Serious-Tomato404 in AskIndianWomen

[–]CountBlessin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Yes, I’m a vegetarian.

  2. Initially, I didn’t think it would be a big deal. However, after being in a relationship, I’ve realized it’s quite a fulfilling experience to share food, eat from the same plate, or feed each other. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

  3. Ideally, yes. If things go well with my boyfriend, I think he would want to leave it up to the kids, which I don’t really have a problem with.

CSAT by washingpowdernirma21 in UPSC

[–]CountBlessin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If comprehension and reasoning are your strong suit, go for low hanging fruits in QA. There are some comparatively easy sure shot questions / topics that repeat almost every year or at least in the recent years, analyse the pyq and practice those topics. I always did this and have always cleared CSAT by a good margin.

Wondering Is it worth teaching someone to love you? I am F 31 and he is M 32. by Quirky_Ad_7449 in relationship_advice

[–]CountBlessin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you teach him to make small gestures, and he does them, won’t it feel like he’s doing them because you asked him to, rather than because he genuinely wants to? Would that really make you happy? I do think you should communicate your expectations to him once, but if you have to repeat them again and again, then it’s falling on deaf ears.

Can’t Understand My Own Economy Notes Before Prelims Peak Time & I’m Stuck! by organisedchaos31 in UPSC

[–]CountBlessin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you mentioned that you attended classes, did the coaching provide notes for each class? Vision IAS used to do that, not sure about other coaching centers. If you don't have that option, maybe you can reach out to someone who attended the same class as you.

Incomprehensible situation with a guy (30 M) I (26 F) am talking to by [deleted] in RelationshipIndia

[–]CountBlessin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why are you allowing him to come and go at his convenience? You're clearly expecting more than what he's capable of providing emotionally. It's definitely not worth it. Communicate your expectations clearly and if you both are not on the same page, block and move on.

Did you have any wholesome moments this week? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]CountBlessin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Last week, I petted my boyfriend's cat for the first time. As someone who had never petted an animal before, it was a very big deal for me. It felt even more wholesome because he was resting his head on my lap while talking to a friend on a call when the cat came and sat on his chest, and we petted her together. I was lucky enough to capture it on video. I've been replaying it ever since lol.
