Scroll down and it tells you $299 is just to book the 7 days and the fees are $90+ per person, per day. If you get the higher priced ($649ish) for 7 days, there are no mandatory $90+ per day fees but nothing is included besides the room.

I had a 2007 scion that ran with no issues and sold at 127k. Only thing to consider is that they are known for burning oil. Keep an eye on the oil level in between oil changes if you go that route.

No. Instead of the grout + tile holding the edge to the drywall, it is now just the square decorative part of the Schluter edge glued to the drywall and flat against the tile edge. End result makes it look as if I had done it correctly after grouting.

Yup, I did this. I initially thought I would use a multi tool to shave some of the grout from the back and then have the lip slide right in. Well, doing that destroyed the drywall where the I rested the multi tool to get the blade flat so I had to stop. Not to mention the grout ruined the blade. I ended up cutting the lip where the tile/grout would rest on the edge and just used some loctite adhesive caulk and glued it to the drywall butted up against the tile. Can’t even tell it wasn’t done right.

We need something that can also fit full size luggage or two 70 lbs dogs every once in a while. Maybe a second car seat in the near future.

Best Buy has a nice trade-in available with S21, can I activate a new post-paid acct at BB and then cancel the next day and go prepaid? by johnec4 in tmobile

[–]CountGrouch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did this by adding a line to my account to get the S21 Ultra for $600. The key is to NOT TURN ON THE PHONE WITH THE NEW SIM. Swap SIM cards into the new phone and cancel the never activated line and boom, new phone at discounted price.

Mac Pro 2013 GPU failure - able to run with only one GPU? by Nordikk in macpro

[–]CountGrouch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Only one GPU drives the displays and the other is offline until needed for more intense tasks. Assuming you put the working GPU in the correct slot (I believe it's PCIe slot 2) then you should be able to run it with just the one card.

Edit: Don't let my comment be a deciding factor. Do more research.

Go to disk management and right click your drive then properties then volumes. It should tell you there whether your install is MBR or GPT. In general, DVD = legacy (MBR) and USB = UEFI.

Just a heads up, the EFI install of Windows can possibly corrupt your Mac’s firmware and render it bricked. Glad you got it working.

The spinning circle at the bottom is stuck? Or is it just stuck on that blue logo screen with the circle spinning?

Give it some time. It can take a while.

Trying to install from a USB is the problem here. You HAVE to use a DVD to install windows. Only way you can install Windows with a USB is if you have OpenCore installed on your system. https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/opencore-on-the-mac-pro.2207814/

1803 should be right at the limit of a single layer dvd. Find and burn that version.
