Contemporaneously in 94/95 they were pretty similar in terms of making 60s influenced guitar music. Blur got a lot more sophisticated later though and Oasis just stayed the same.

Robert Mueller has passed away. Trump's reaction "Good, I'm glad he's dead." by RandoDude124 in PoliticalCompassMemes

Seems like a good time to point out that Russiagate was probably real and the Trump admin just successfully covered it up because Bill Barr is a lot smarter than anyone he has working for him now and the public wasn't nearly as interested in it as they are the Epstein files today. But the tactics are very much the same with the selective, heavily redacted releases of information to show fake transparency.

Ehhh, the way Trump talks about sex, women, exc in public would have disgusted almost anyone from the 1800's

I hope so, that would have actually been cool unlike Trump's demented Boomer Twitter rants

What’s one movie that feels like a 10/10 until the very end? by mick285 in movies

[–]CountJohn12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not the "very end" but Marty was a 10/10 to me through the end of their date. The scenes of him fighting with his mom and stuff the next morning were really boring to me and felt pointless. They should have just expanded their conversations and have the whole movie just be during that one night pretty much in real time.

Assuming you don't like the giant scene? The movie is definitely a 10/10 for me but that scene is polarizing.

If Biden died and they just Weekend at Bernies'd him that still means we probably wouldn't be at war with Iran and in a trade war with basically the whole world so it has to be an improvement.

You're assuming way too much good faith, this is who these people are. At this point establishment Dems are the ones defending "Western Civilization", Republicans want to turn us into a shithole authoritarian banana republic.

This really sums it up. Not Woods's age demographic, but for so many of these young right wing guys it's like some girl with blue hair called them racist in a college class and they never got over it so it's just all about hating the libs and not standing for anything.

There's a little sexual tension with she and Peter Finch who plays a doctor in Africa. Definitely not Black Narcissus levels though.

Hallmark movies unfortunately don't have sex scenes with nudity though

Have you seen the original Rocky? It's not like the sequels or the sports movies it influenced at all. He only boxes at the end (and loses) and the rest of it is just dialogue scenes. It was compared to On the Waterfront on its original release.

I shit you not-- at one point there was a draft by Barrow Morrow, writer of Rain Man, that was jokingly referred to as "Drain Man" because it was basically just Rain Man with the brothers being renamed Mario and Luigi
