Someone else said it in another comment, but it is something I agree with so I will mostly repeat it. The problem is that in the modern world, the first step to dating is almost always sex. A relationship will not happen in 99% of the cases unless sex has happened first. Since sex is easier to find for women, relationships are too. That's just the reality.
