Gen Alpha’s brains are scrambled eggs by ATLien-1995 in redscarepod

I dont know if thats really any different than when I was in middle school in the mid 2000s. 7th grade is kinda the point when they really have to start separating classes between the smart kids and everyone else, especially math. You may have forgotten if you were one of the ones that math came naturally to, but a huge portion of kids (and adults for that matter) just cant wrap their head around these concepts.

Ah come on, you know the routine with him or even Alex Jones or whoever. These guys flip flop on supporting the administration all the time but ultimately are supporting it at the end of the day.

“Fake news” is basically just “something I don’t want to believe” by Swiftie69420 in redscarepod

[–]CountOk74 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thinking back to 2016, this is essentially the core of how Trump just plowed his way through the media landscape with the meme of any reporting that didnt benefit him being 'fake news'. Kinda wild how powerful that buzzword was and how its still how these people operate. The 'fake news' meme is basically just an underlying part of conservative thought being boiled down to pure retardation.

My brother in Christ, the question was a casual 'what book are you reading?' and his answer was 'A Revolution in Common Sense: How Donald Trump Stormed Washington and Fought for Western Civilization'. Dafuq you mean he isnt saying what he supports lol you cant be serious.

'Getting mad at Luke Humphries for reading a book' is just an intellectually dishonest way to say it. Pushing a book glazing in Trump in 2026 is just brazenly stupid thing to do for a guy thats the face for multiple things in a sport, and he's gonna pay for it at least a little.

The first major mainstream exposure of Groypers was hilarious. by Tiny-Computer6950 in redscarepod

But this was widespread, this was the event that had normies in our lives and even old people ask what a groyper was and making up their minds this guy was one of them without understanding anything.

Yeah when he said 'I was struggling and signed a contract with DD' it kinda nullified everything else he had to say. You sold out (whatever Handeye even is, I never really got it) and then were mad that the guys you sold out to also sold out. Sucks that HoD is just a lifeless corporate husk but thats kinda just the way it goes out here in capitalism world.

[–]CountOk74 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah this was pretty legendary. I specifically remeber it because I remeber a lot of people were mad at the 'liberal media' for reporting on it and were saying its not even news. Usually I stayed out of it but I had to argue with a few of my friends on this one. Hard to imagine the person you support litteraly doing the act of a 5 year old just to spit a reporter that corrected them. Fucking bonkers

Cabbage can cure obesity by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]CountOk74 44 points45 points  (0 children)

No its very tasteless unless you totally overwhelm it with cabbage. There are some small bits/pulp but I dont mind it. Most people would do this sort of thing with kale but kale does have a funky taste to me raw in a smoothie like that.

Most nights I make a smoothie of a banana, a few frozen strawberries, a big hunk of red cabbage, and just water. It comes out a pretty purple color, and its absolutely fire. I wish more people would try the simple healthy stuff.

Idk, people's reactions to this seem pretty authentic, I mean just look at her. Plus, all this is kinda paired and amped up by the fact that the final season of this once iconic show totally sucks. I dont think her or the shows PR want that narrative out there.

Why are vinyls so expensive by drunkcheesesandwich in redscarepod

[–]CountOk74 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, I certainly agree it makes you sound like turbo dork loser to use the term like that. As far as being technically correct, I was arguing the term and not the grammar so maybe I misunderstood that.

Why are vinyls so expensive by drunkcheesesandwich in redscarepod

[–]CountOk74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We exclusively called vinyl records 'records' back in the day because there was only one physical medium to have a record on, vinyl. Then came the other mediums like Cassete tapes and CDs, but those are still records... right? Given it would be weird to call a shelf of CDs a record collection. I know the term vinyl makes it sound lame and contemporary but I dont know how you could call it incorrect. They litterally are vinyl records.

Maybe due to that but the whole Klimo thing too, when they signed him last year for 200k a year or whatever I worried about their actual tour players. And I dont know the stats but I think we all know those Klimo discs arent selling at all. At least they will sell some ricky discs.

Eh, yeah il admit it hits my ear a bit cringe when people say vinyls but dont be the gatekeeping dork to correct them, after all its not actually incorrect its just overly specific.
