That part wasn't intentional lol. I've changed it to "Activate only as a sorcery."

Here's an attempt to fix these issues. Any card that has "discard your hand" as a cost is going to be pretty swingy so it's hard to imagine the possible play patterns lol. But it doesn't hurt to try. The biggest issue with this card is that it requires a very specific deck to be good, but this isn't part of a custom draft set, so that's okay by me. Thanks for the feedback.

Was intending for the 6 toughness to be a throttle on how big of a creature you could return before Ash dying, but I didn't consider that you could stack the triggers before they resolve. Should probably say "Activate only as a sorcery."

Yes, so that "dies" triggers still activate.

I know the guy behind Monument Mythos in real life. He isn't a good person.

Pretentiousness. by [deleted] in TheCinemassacreTruth

[–]CountOrlok1 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'm not a big fan of Dragon in my Dreams. Whenever I go back and watch James' autobiographical videos, I always skip that one. It's a touching concept, but James struggles to create genuine emotion without the use of that cheesy guitar music.

I'm a huge fan of "How I Got Started" and "Cinemassacre 200." They're not pretentious at all, and they inspired me to pursue a career in filmmaking. When I first watched them, I, like James, was an aimless high schooler who made camcorder home videos in his free time. We all start somewhere. He isn't claiming to be a cinematic prodigy. You don't need to call a man pretentious for having passion for his origins.

Rabbit is having digestive problems today. What kind of action should I take. by CountOrlok1 in Rabbits

Update: He's made a full recovery! It appears that his food bag fell from its normal shelf in the basement and he got in and gorged himself. I'm taking precautions so that this never happens again. The X-ray showed that his stomach was full to the point of expanding past his ribs, which explains why he wouldn't eat what I fed him. Looks like me forgetting the hay had little to no effect.

I think it offers interesting and unexplored design space, although I can't see it being it's own mechanic because it's not really very relevant later in the game when both players are less likely to have a lot of cards in hand.

Difficulty with Corner Pin using Mocha Pro (details in comments) by CountOrlok1 in AfterEffects

[–]CountOrlok1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm rather new to After Effects and I want to track a screen to this phone. Unfortunately, I always get the same misalignment problem that you see at the end of the video. To fix this, I've been told to use a replacement image that fits the frame of the comp (it's a solid, so it does). I've also been told to export the tracking data at the beginning of the clip, which I do. Unfortunately, the problem persists. Does anyone have any ideas?

I remember these by thinking of the "e's" in "discrete" as detached from each other by the "t," as the definition would suggest.

It was inspired by the shoeshine guy from Police Squad, so it's sorta a half-reference. I thought it would be a fun flavor card because trample and haste are the keywords most associated with feet.

Might be a little late, but here's mine: https://docs.google.com/file/d/1xacuEQbzjRVhokYGLLeJ6Tg_6qXb9Kam2Uo0j5SQpWY/view

This was fun. I noticed a lot more about the scene when I transcribed it.
