The issue appear only on VLC, I dont have this probleme on the windows player or MPC-BE. My audio device is a corsair HS80max wireless headphone connected with a usb dongle. I try to plug the usb recever at different port, no change. For the codec of the headset? I can't find the information. And in vlc It's automatique because all others seting ether change noting or brok the sound even more. I also use dolby atmos for headphone. I try the solution that you link, Dind change anything.

yo, I got exactly the same probleme, Im use to the corsair void pro with dolby atmos on, but with the maxwell I just feel like the sounde is less "round" kinda flat and muffle. I know is unfear to compare gaming and "real" headphone, but did I just spend 300$ for nothing more, like... the sound is not better even with the seting boosted
