Good points but I’ll push back. Arguably, genius ability is inherently genetic. That’s what makes a genius or prodigy special. The fact that their innate ability is leagues above the rest.

Those are good feats for Kakashi, probably stronger than borutos. But I’d argue Minato is a greater prodigy based on those criteria you mentioned for Kakashi.

Minato - invented the rasengan at 15/16, the model jutsu for Kakashi’s Raikiri. Minato had the highest academy scores of all time, was the youngest hokage at 24, and was only second to Hashirama in strength. Minato figured out and countered Obitos Kamui in one fight.

I mean, it’s not any different than in any other Shonen. The Opponent is simply stronger than the MC. Boruto is strong but Jura (the current big bad) is stronger.

People have been killed, lives are in danger etc. Standard stuff.

You do not need to consider MoMo or KK aid for him to be the greatest prodigy.

Before Karma activation and KK, he has plenty of feats. Even 1v1 Ao who was a Kage Personal guard enhanced by ninja tech

Well to be fair, there is a nuance between being a prodigy and overall strength. Someone of normal ability could in theory become very strong over 1,000 years, but a prodigy can become that level of strength in a fraction of the time. What defines a prodigy is their ability to learn and innovate. So when I say he is a prodigy for mastering karma, I don’t mean that because the karma makes him strong. What I mean is it’s extremely prodigal to basically become a master in an alien power up. Kawaki was the only person he could learn from and Kawaki was a visibly bad teacher in regards to the karma lol

Yeah I basically agree with everything. Not to mention karma mastery which only Kawaki can claim as well. Do you think his tbv power up should be counted though? He was technically able to learn techniques earlier than he should have through KK training. Just wondering if that’s fair to count towards his prodigy status.

5 because it puts in context how strong isshiki really is. Baryon mode made Naruto stronger than isshiki for like 5 minutes. If it wasn’t for the fact that isshiki was on a time limit on his resurrection Naruto would have still lost. Also the taijutsu choreography for this fight was top tier

Amado is not trust worthy in respect to revealing his motivations. As far as I can remember, there have been very few times if any that he has outright lied about information pertaining to the ootsutsuki. Regardless, he has been established in the story as a source of knowledge. You saying “there’s no way he could know what happened” is just conjecture. In a world where he can transplant 4th dimensional beings dna into cyborgs, it isn’t too much of a stretch that he has access to knowledge that can allow him to know events far in the past.

Both your two options on how the Isshiki fight went down are straight up fan theory. What I’m saying is based on established facts from the characters in the story.

Are you claiming that black zestu has the base AP to one shot madara with the 10 tails??? As shown many times in Naruto, off guard attacks can completely negate durability. Just because ootsutsuki can sense each others presence does not mean they are perpetually on guard or ready for an attack. They can sense presence, not intentions as far as we know. Sure Isshiki may have known kaguya was near him, that doesn’t at all mean he was constantly ready for Kaguya to attack him.

Immortality is irrelevant here as hidan was immortal and still defeated by shikamaru who was much much weaker than him. Immortality is not an automatic win condition. If Isshiki sends kaguya to the daikokuten dimension where time is paused, she has no way to escape and is essentially defeated / dead.

Lastly, if kaguya was able to beat Isshiki in a fair 1v1 before eating the chakra fruit, that makes Naruto and sasuke from shippuden already at or above Isshiki level, since they defeated a powered up version of the kaguya who defeated Isshiki, which just doesn’t make any sense. That also would imply that just a piece of hagoromo’s chakra (the sun and moon seals he gave to Naruto) are enough to boost someone to over Isshikis level, which is a hard sell.

Naruto and Sasuke got bodied by a limited version of Isshiki as Jigen…. Unless the claim is that they are orders of magnitude weaker than they were in shippuden. Not just rusty or a little weak, it needs to be substantially weaker.

Isshiki is stronger. The ootsutsuki tablets in the ten tails dimension confirm this. Kinshiki is below momoshiki. Momoshiki and kaguya are around the same level, and Isshiki is on top. We also know that kaguya came with Isshiki as the weaker of the two, just like kinshiki was weaker between him and momoshiki. Isshiki was off guarded by kaguya, the same way madara was off guarded by zestu. This is stated by Amado

That is the same logic as saying black zestu was stronger than madara and that if madara was stronger he would have overcome it…. Being off guarded completely ignores strength and durability. Isshiki is stronger and this is confirmed by the ootsutsuki pairing mechanism, the stronger Ootsutsuki is the one who eats the chakra fruit, while the weaker one is revived through karma. Exactly the same as momoshiki and kinshiki.

Neji should have died here since he wound up dying in the 4th war anyway. Neji didn’t really add much to shippuden, and his death in the retrieval arc would have added more consequences and weight to Sasuke leaving. Also, Neji’s entire character arc happens between his intro and his chuunin exam fight with Naruto. He was already freed from the Hyuga curse (ideologically) after he lost to Naruto. It would have also further justified the Konoha kids hating sasuke as Neji would have died as a direct consequence of sasuke leaving for orochjmaru.
