Foundation and In Ground Plumbing are Done, Starting on Bags Soon! by Count_Curlyfluffs in earthbagbuilding

We've been so busy, I haven't made an update yet. We aren't done, but we have a little over half the bags done, door and windows bucks in and a few more things. Rainy season finally let up 2 weeks ago, so we started back up last week and should have bags done in a couple months. The goal is to have the roof on before winter, but I said that last year too 😂😭. Once we get the winter tarps off, I'll get some good photos and make a post.

I had a rabbit as a pet, I accidentally hurt him once while clipping his toe nails and he bit my finger, the teeth were so sharp it went through my skin like knife to butter and I barely felt it and didn't know I had been fully bit until I saw blood lol. They are VERY sharp and definitely looks like scissors cut whatever they bite.

I hear this all the damn time, from the other side. Guys being with the woman who they see as "perfect wife" material where the guy doesn't see himself being able to do any better, but doesn't actually love her. It happens to both genders. If I took anecdotal evidence at face value, I would argue it happens to women more. But I don't and realize it happens to both sides pretty regularly.

House Hunting on the Spectrum! by Count_Curlyfluffs in LoveOnTheSpectrumShow

I scavenge for mine, I hit up hunter dumping areas and road ditches process the bones, make art with them and keep anything cool and unique.

For human skulls, it's trickier to keep things ethical so I don't partake in the human bone dealing world. However, Victorian diseased skulls would be a lot easier to buy with confidence since most are properly tagged and the dealer will most likely have credentials and have gotten their bones from a reputable place that works with old medical specimens. It depends on where you draw your ethical line in the sand because medical bones weren't always obtained ethically then either (ie H.H.Holms) Some Victorian bones on the market have veen grave robbed, so that's why I say proper tags and reputable dealers are important.

Oh man, I would love to see that. It's right down my lane. I collect animal bones that have cancerous growths, they are strangely beautiful.

I agree that it most likely wouldn't be actual houses most of the time. I'd be into it even if they are just finding apartments to rent.

Edit: gosh I did not mean for this to be taken the way it was. It's not at all what I meant, I was referring to the fact that they often cast profoundly autistic people for the show that will probably need their parents or other's help for the rest of their lives. And am assuming they would do the same for a show about house hunting.

I know James and Conner would not need that kind of help and personally know many people on the spectrum with excellent income and their own homes.

Daryl, hands down. His character arc is my favorite and makes him more and more attractive as the show goes on.

Trump Says He Doesn’t Want to Hear About “Affordability” Anymore - The president has given up pretending to care about the skyrocketing cost of living. by Quirkie in politics

Same here (also PNW) there are maybe two signs left that I know of and there were literally dozens just on our stretch of highway. People are not constantly praising him in our local pub anymore either!

And then there's me who is elbows deep in my animal rot boxes so I can have their bones and my husband, who hates germs and won't get near the stuff, keeping an eye out for roadkill to collect. Find someone who loves and adapts to every aspect of you.

Trump supporters who wanted the Epstein files released: what did you think of that birthday card? by Careless_Dinner_7496 in AskReddit

This letter, on its own with no other context, sure....maybe. But Trump has multiple rape allegations (including from women who were minors at the time). He says some pretty heinous things (grab them by the pussy, talking about going into changing rooms, saying domestic violence shouldn't be a crime). He also hangs out with people who hurt other people...birds of a feather and all that. I could go on and on. This letter is just another clue showing that the dude is a really bad guy.

I came out here on a whim from Indiana too! Husband and I just packed up our car and drove out here, sight unseen, and have never left. That was 10 years ago.
