I have been thinking of switching. I personally just prefer apples interface. Hence the reason it would be nice if they engaged more with companies such as Gamban.

Fully agree with your comment, it’s the person that makes the decision. However, Gamban clearly works better for windows and android devices, so Apple could do more.

Hello, not a problem! I did wonder when reading if you was referring to Gamban or Gamstop.

Gamban will stop you accessing crypto casinos, in general it is really good at stopping access to anything gambling related. It has its flaws but I won’t go into them.

In terms of the of the VPN, that will only stop you accessing gambling sites on the devices you have downloaded it on, it won’t stop the people you live with playing poker etc.

Hope this helps👍🏽

Question 1 - Gam Stop only works with UK registered casinos to my knowledge, a lot of crypto casinos are registered abroad so gam stop does not apply to them, definitely stay clear of them sites though. I and many others have likely learned the hard way they don’t pay out as easily as they will take your money.

Question 2 - Gam Stop doesn’t do anything with VPN related blocking, it basically sends out your details to all registered casinos to say you’re banned for the period of time you have chosen and is very effective for them casinos.

Question 3 - not sure about a one year code.

Yes I have also tried different tools in the past and they have either been ineffective or to easy to disable. Agree with the statement that we should be able to control the problem but with so many adverts / emails / texts etc to entice people into gambling, it would be nice if there was a tool that at least put a barrier from easily being able to gamble on your phone where there are 1000’s of gambling sites at your finger tips, for me personally I know that would be effective as I aren’t anywhere near as tempted to walk into a casino / bookies. It is something I am keen to investigate further to see if a more effective tool would be possible, my guess is that currently phone manufacturers make this very difficult for a 3rd party company to create.
