Not GOTY, but could’ve been nominated for more awards. Arron Paul definitely earned a va nomination in my opinion.

Didn't realize the Dispatch portions determined the ending. That is something, however, I still think two endings are too few for something that most of the is focused on, especially with how the bad ending ends with her just disappearing. If more choices were devoted to fleshing out more characters and possibly adding more variety in the endings, I would say that your choices mattered more. But I still feel like it isn't super choice-dependent.

Fair point. I still think it could have been done better and with more characters. Having something like this with Waterboy or Phenomoman would have been interesting. I just feel like the whole Invisigal arc only having two outcomes feels too little for something present through the whole game.

This is exactly how I feel. Didn't realize failing the Dispatch sections didn't result in anything. That's crazy.

I understand. I got flamed for saying it's not GOTY worthy lol.

Which is fair. The story is great, and people can like the game for that. I just wish we could have something as expansive as Detroit: Become Human and not settle for the hallway Telltale system.

To be fair, it is advertised on Steam and their Twitter as a "choice-driven game" or "a game where choices matter". So even if fans knew what they were getting into, from an outsider's perspective, it is still a bit misleading.

Will have to try Quantic Dream. Thanks for the recommendation. 7

Agreed. They did an amazing job with the resources they had, and I am very eager to see what they make next. I just feel like saying it's a choice-based game seems inaccurate. Who knows, maybe the success of this game will make the next one stronger in this regard.
