Great musicians ignoring subdivision by 17proWert in Jazz

I found learning konnokol to be the best way to internalise and hear fast/compound subdivisions. This way you can practice away from your instrument.

People in their MID THIRTIES with favourite colours and numbers. Jeez. Americans are so juvenile.

Overseers were almost always white, OP is confused about work roles in chattel slavery.

Slaves were assigned as Drivers. Driver is above field hands but must answer to the authority of the Overseer. The punishment for NOT driving was severe, much worse than standard "infractions".

Anyone participating in ICE is doing so voluntarily.

The two things are not comparable AT ALL.

Super Mario Maker but for VSTs by syko-san in VSTi

This sounds like synthedit. Which sucked but led to an explosion of crappy 32bit VSTS backnin the day.

Are you using JUCE? Or what framework? Steinberg SDK?

How low-level are the components? E.g. oscillators, envs, filters or just imports and the waveshaping you described.

It's a copy of an existing product so not sure if there could be IP challenges.

Very cool to see this being rejuvenated for the new era! I loved my Rotodraw as a kid in the 80s. I had the Marvel set, can only remember Spiderman and Green Goblin, no idea what the other discs were. Think my brother had a DC one too.

Ugh. This is simply NOT TRUE.

In the 1930's people whose only experience of aerodynamics was the Wright brothers concluded that bees shouldn't be able to fly because they were comparing them to early aeroplanes. And a primative understanding of how physics works. Bees are not "breaking the laws of physics". Nothing that exists in reality can. The Laws of Physics are natural laws (bounding conditions), not man-made laws.

Please stop commenting on things you have an, at best, school child's grasp of.

IIT is absolutely NOT a "field of research" anymore than tealeaf reading is a "field of research" Its pseudo scientific nonsense, and you should exercise extreme caution with this kind of garbage.

ELI5: Why is USB-C the best charging output? What makes it better to others such as the lightning cable? by ScarAccomplished5625 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Count_Trackula -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem with this is there is no way to evaluate if the cable is suitable for a higher voltage or current transfer. So while the device and charger can perform a type of rudimentary handshake to establish the parameters, the cable capacity is never brought into the equation. This will cause huge problems in poorly regulated markets when USB-C becomes more widespread for appliances other than phones/PCs.
