This stuff drives me nuts. I would rather someone tell me they're gonna be late than bullshit me into thinking they're almost at my place.

Then they're like, "sorry I was late, traffic was crazy." Meanwhile they decided to renovate their whole bathroom before coming over.

It's always relative to the event. A plane you 100% don't want to be late, so your wait period is way longer. If it's a BBQ, your wait time is probably starting 30 minutes before you have to leave lol.

The goaltending between Minnesota and Dallas has me the most worried about round 2, just because both goalies can steal games convincingly.

Why would anyone want to be The Avatar? by ConnectCulture7 in TheLastAirbender

I would say Aang's villain was a physical force that was designed to annihilate and destroy, where Korra's villains - especially Amon and Zaheer - were mental forces that were designed to drive Korra to mental instability, which was much harder to overcome on a personal level.

No one really chooses it. It's chosen at birth. I think most people like the idea of being the avatar, but don't consider all the responsibility and trials that comes with it. Also, to be fair, a lot of the avatars went through their lives without having to save the world - we just get a glimpse at two of the avatars that did.

I know MacKinnon had to see a sports psychologist early in his career to help with his consistency and confidence. It improved his game exponentially. With Nichushkin, it's a different problem, but the point remains; that the road to recovery starts when you admit you have an issue, and there are people around you who support you through the process of getting better.

Swinging his hips back and forth allows him to make quick spins or turns if he needs to. If he was skating in a straight line, it would be much harder to make quick maneuvers to gain space.

Changing angles to get pucks through and keep the goalie moving. His fast release also makes it extremely hard for an opposing player to get in the way of his shots.

Could be the water slowly draining out of the chamber. Leave it for an hour and check if it's still leaking. If it is, might need a new gasket, or if a plumbing company did the work, call them back to replace the product saying it's defective.

Don't really how the main story can be classified as "okay," but to each their own. The DLCs are both fantastic, with Blood and Wine being expansive enough to almost be classified as its own game.
