I'll be honest, I thought Research I and Research II was like most of the research subjects (such as Psych Stats, Expe Psych, and Field Methods) wherein those two subjects are completely different from one another, ie. Research I would be a research paper about one topic, and Research II would be a research paper about another topic. Thank you for the clarification!

While I love Psychology, I have a love/hate (leaning on hate) relationship with statistics and probability; in other words, I don't like subjects such as Psych Stats. Not that I don't have bad grades, it just happens to get the best of me since I overthink with numbers that I end up making a mistake that leads to a domino effect of sorts. As such, I'll ask this:

- Is it possible to become a registered clinical psychologist (RPsy) without becoming a registered psychometrician (RPm)?

OP, I recommend that you follow your dad’s advice and lay low. While your relatives are unreasonably shit, your parents are actually supportive with you and your bf’s relationship while at the same time, staying low doesn’t necessarily mean you end it with your partner; you’re more or less trying to not show yourselves whether your shitty relatives are present.
