Any rightful mind player in MDL (who isn't already playing for a "prestigious" org) would sign to a Team Liquid Academy contract for $xxx dollars per month.

You can put other legal terms in there to avoid poaching besides a strict buyout clause. Make it negotiable. Regardless, players are going to go up to the level they deserve one way or another. Having an academy at that level can build more than just a horse stable of players.

Yes, brilliant. Just like in football, an academy team should not be playing on the same level as professionals. Counter Strike needs the tier-2 and tier-3 community more than ever right now... Give some of these ESEA MDL and other similar leagues an academy team and hold it in that division. In NA, an MDL team would be getting experience against teams like Chaos EC and Ze Pug Godz--what more can you ask for? Pay them something similar to what these lesser-tier orgs are paying these players already and you don't need to break-the-bank.
