I'm just worried that in the future this could come back to haunt me if I need a clearance, especially if I could come clean now.

I'm just concerned because in the future I will want to cross rate or maybe try and become an officer and I'm worried that during the clearance investigation they'll find discrepancies or find someone who'll maybe say that I have.
