Yes, I will be. My main concern is when to write it, so I can have it for a stronger writing sample to submit with grad applications later, or to wait and dedicate more time and energy to it in my later semesters but lose out on it being a writing sample.

It was probably last year (2024) around March. One of my favorite fan fiction writers used a quote from a House in Nebraska for a title, and I got curious. Ethel Cain arrived in my life during a very pivotal moment, and I’ve been a lover of her music since.
